Family Medical Leave

For your own serious health condition

Eligible employees are provided with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per rolling calendar year when you are unable to work due to your own serious health condition. To learn more, please review the toolkit below.

  • Temporary Disability (NJ employees)
     

  • Non-NJ employees: Non-New Jersey employees can apply for Temporary Disability Insurance through New York Life by calling 888-842-4462.  You may request Temporary Disability Insurance at the same time you are requesting FML.

  • Personal Leave - Employees in good standing may request a personal leave of absence by contacting Human Resources at HRTeam@connerstrong.com.

  • Military Leave - In accordance with USERRA, CSB will grant a military leave of absence to all eligible employees who leave a position for the purpose of performing military duty. Click the links below for more information or contact Human Resources at HRTeam@connerstrong.com.

  • Domestic Violence Leave - The NJ SAFE Act provides protection for employees and their family members who have been the victim of domestic violence or sexual assault. Click the links below for more information or contact Bonnie Wideman, Melissa Conaghan, or HRTeam@connerstrong.com.

Pay During Leave

Pay During Leave Toolkit

The following options are available for employees to receive payment while on leave. When preparing to go on leave, contact Human Resources at HRTeam@connerstrong.com to create an individualized plan of action.

  • Temporary Disability (NJ Employees) - Provided by the state of New Jersey.

  • Temporary Disability (Non-NJ Employees) - Temporary Disability Insurance can be purchased through New York Life 

  • Paid Parental Leave - Provided as an employee benefit through Conner Strong & Buckelew

  • Family Leave Insurance (NJ Employees) - Provided by the state of New Jersey

  • NYFLI (New York Employees) - Provided by the state of New York

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - Check your PTO balance by logging in to ADP and selecting Myself -> My Time Off
